i-Activsense is an advanced range of driver assistance safety features installed in every 2025 Mazda. They use radar, sonar, and cameras to identify potential accidents and warn you so you can take action and avoid them. As your Mazda dealership, we want to tell you about some of these features that may be standard or available for your Mazda.

From Your Mazda Dealership: 4 Advanced Safety Features in the 2025 Mazda Lineup
Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS)
This system uses a forward-facing camera to scan the road for lane lines. Once the lines are identified, LDWS will warn you if you’re unintentionally about to leave your lane. It’s automatically active when you’re driving at 37 mph or more. You’ll see a car icon with white lines on either side appear in the multi-information display screen when the system is working and has detected the lines.
If LDWS determines you’re about to leave your lane and aren’t actively steering, a warning beep sounds and the line on one side of the icon changes color to show you’re about to cross it. This warning gives you enough time to turn back into your lane.
360 Degree Monitor
This feature uses several mounted cameras to enable you to view any direction in real-time. You can choose four different views. The Top View shows a 360-degree view of the area around your vehicle, created by combining the views from all four cameras. It works in both forward and reverse gears and appears on your center display.
The Forward View can be adjusted between standard and wide-angle, and guidelines appear on the screen. The Side View shows both left and right views. Finally, the Rear View can also be adjusted between standard and wide-angle views. This system also works with the parking sensors, which detect any object close to your vehicle. If something is identified, you’ll hear beeping, and an obstruction detection indication will appear on the screen.
Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR)
This system uses a small camera to identify traffic and warning signs, and an image of the sign will appear on your driving display. This prevents you from missing any important warnings. If a speed restriction sign is identified and you’re moving faster than its requirements, an audible warning sounds, and a warning icon will appear on your driving display.
Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFLS)
This system improves visibility when driving at night, as the headlights turn in the same direction as your steering wheel. It’s automatically active when the headlights are switched on and you drive faster than 2 mph.
These are just a few examples of the i-Activsense safety systems in your Mazda. Learn more about these features by contacting us at Auffenberg Mazda of O’Fallon in Shiloh, IL.
