Whether they’re from Fairview or just passing through O'Fallon and needing an oil change, the most common question we get from drivers at Auffenberg Mazda is an easy one to answer: Where is Mazda Made?

Are Mazda Models Made in the U.S.?

Mazda Motor Corporation is a multinational automaker based out of Japan, but new Mazda models are made and driven all over the world. That said, the North American Mazda models you’ll find here are made in a few different places:
  • Most Mazda vehicles are produced in Hiroshima, Japan, with tight regulations that have ensured the reputation for quality Mazda is known for.
  • In 2014, smaller Mazda models like the Mazda3 began production in Guanajuato, Mexico.
  • In an effort to meet demands, Mazda announced plans for a new plant in Huntsville, Alabama.
